Shipping & Returns

 Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 10 days of delivery for a full refund LESS SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEE - PLUS YOU PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE. We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item).

If the product is defective we will request the item to be returned for inspection (return postage your cost-this is not refundable) if found to be our fault then we will replace the item at no cost to you.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

 Shipping Policy

 Please note: ONLY MEDIA MAIL ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED FREE - THESE ARE

     Books (at least 8 pages).
    Sound recordings and video recordings, such as CDs and DVDs.
    Playscripts and manuscripts for books, periodicals, and music.
    Printed music.

 

 BE SURE TO INSPECT THE PRODUCT AT TIME OF DELIVERY. IF THE PACKAGING IS DAMAGED IN ANYWAY THE CARRIER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGES TO THE PRODUCT - NOT HEARTBEAT DISTRIBUTION

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Unfortunately, we have no control over how long it takes the mail carrier to deliver your package once it leaves our warehouse. We process and ship out most of our packages within 1 to 2 business days.

Check below to see the standard delivery times:
United States
Standard (Free Shipping): 4 to 14 Business (M-F) days. May take as many as 21 Business (M-F) days.
Expedited: 2 to 6 Business (M-F) days. May take as many as 8 Business (M-F) days.

International
Standard:  3 to 4 weeks. May take as long as 45 days depending on any Customs delays.
Expedited: 10 to 15 days. May take as long as 21 days depending on any Customs delays.

*Orders placed on Friday get shipped on Monday.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

We will do our best to give you a proper Shipping and Handling fee as calculated but to some areas the calculated fee may be less than the quote from the shipper therefore we will adjust the fee to the correct amount and send an email to notify you of the change.

YOU MUST NOTIFY US IN 24HRS IF YOU STILL WOULD LIKE THE ITEM SHIPPED OR YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED.

 Customs, Duties, and Taxes

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from HeartBeat Distribution, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
