"I cannot think of any other instance since the beginning of time that had a meeting of hearts in an exchange of love, sorrow and acceptance like the meeting between Jesus and His Blessed Mother. Cor ad Cor Loquitur was painted in 2012 and was originally part of an exhibition sponsored by the Archdiocese of Glasgow during Lent, that focused on the Way of the Cross."  Tommy Canning
